If you get tired looking at the beauties of nature, there are also cinemas and bowling alleys where you can relax. Elk wander freely through the streets of Banff and graze on the school grounds. When you return to your parked car, you might find that an elk has got you parked in. You just have to wait until he decides to move on, before you can leave.

Golf

Banff is famous for golf. The course at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel is magnificent with breathtaking views in every direction. If you have to ask how much green fees are, you can’t afford them. It is expensive to play the course, but it is the experience of a lifetime. Watch out for the wandering elk that graze on the fairways. You don’t want to hit one of them with a ball. They are massive creatures with powerful bodies and you certainly don’t want to lock horns with one of them. They of course have the right of way, because this is a national park, and they are protected, as are all other wildlife.
