A New Way to Decorate You Christmas Tree Decoration
If you are tired of the same old Christmas tree every year, here is a new approach for you to try. With a little effort you will create a beautiful new tree that will grace you home and be the envy of all your friends.
An Artificial Tree
If you don’t already have one, buy a good artificial tree that is seven feet tall.
A good selection of artificial trees is available in the stores so you can choose a spruce, or a pine, or whatever suits you fancy. Artificial trees are much easier to work with than fresh ones. You don’t need to worry about it shedding greenery on your floor. You can leave it up as long as you desire without worry that it will dry out and become a fire hazard.
Under the Tree
Place a gold cloth around the base of the tree, hiding the stand that holds up the tree. Cloths designed for this purpose can be purchased at stores that sell ornaments and lights. Wrap a few presents with pink and gold wrapping paper and place them under the tree on the gold cloth..
Lighting
Your tree will require three sets of lights to be well decorated. Purchase lights that that you can adjust the speed at which they blink. String the lights on the tree, beginning at the bottom, working your way up to the top of the tree. Lights that blink slowly add a lot of charm to the tree and create an atmosphere of peace and tranquility.
Ornaments
Begin decorating your tree by placing gold ornaments on it. Space the gold ornaments over the entire tree. When you have finished with the gold ornaments, begin adding pink ones in between the gold ones. Next place some white ornaments among the gold and pink ones. Finish with a few green ornaments near the bottom of the tree.
Poinsettias
Buy pink and white poinsettias in a floral shop for artificial flowers. Cut the blossoms from the stems using a pair of wire cutters, leaving about 6 inches of stem on each blossom. Insert the stems of the pink poinsettias into the branches of the tree Cover the tree from top to bottom with the pink poinsettias. Next insert the white poinsettias in between the pink ones. Now your tree should be covered with beautiful flowers.
Golden Angel
Place a golden angel on the top of your tree, adding the crowning touch to you creation. Find an angel that lights up and changes colors for a dramatic and beautiful effect.
